Dear friends in Christ, here in the presence of Almighty God,
let us kneel in silence, and with penitent and obedient hearts
confess our sins, so that we may obtain forgiveness by his
infinite goodness and mercy.
		Silence may be kept.
		Almighty and most merciful Father,
		we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep,
		we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts,
		we have offended against thy holy laws,
		we have left undone those things which we ought to have done,
		and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.
		But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us,
		spare thou those who confess their faults,
		restore thou those who are penitent,
		according to thy promises declared unto mankind
		in Christ Jesus our Lord;
		and grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake,
		that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life,
		to the glory of thy holy Name. Amen.
		The Almighty and merciful Lord grant us absolution and
		remission of all our sins, true repentance, amendment of
		life, and the grace and consolation of his Holy Spirit. Amen.

		Most merciful God,

		We have not loved you with our whole heart;

Psalm 34 Benedicam Dominum
I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne.
1   I WILL alway give thanks unto the LORD; *
      his praise shall ever be in my mouth.
2    My soul shall make her boast in the LORD; *
      the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3    O praise the LORD with me, *
      and let us magnify his Name together.
4    I sought the LORD, and he heard me; *
      yea, he delivered me out of all my fear.
5    They had an eye unto him, and were lightened; *
      and their faces were not ashamed.
6    Lo, the poor crieth, and the LORD heareth him; *
      yea, and saveth him out of all his troubles.
7    The angel of the LORD tarrieth round about them that fear him, *
      and delivereth them.
8    O taste, and see, how gracious the LORD is: *
      blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9    O fear the LORD, ye that are his saints; *
      for they that fear him lack nothing.
10    The lions do lack, and suffer hunger; *
      but they who seek the LORD shall want no manner of thing that is good.
11    Come, ye children, and hearken unto me; *
      I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12    What man is he that lusteth to live, *
      and would fain see good days?
13    Keep thy tongue from evil, *
      and thy lips, that they speak no guile.
14    Eschew evil, and do good; *
      seek peace, and ensue it.
15    The eyes of the LORD are over the righteous, *
      and his ears are open unto their prayers.
16    The countenance of the LORD is against them that do evil, *
      to root out the remembrance of them from the earth.
17    The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth them, *
      and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18    The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a contrite heart, *
      and will save such as be of an humble spirit.
19    Great are the troubles of the righteous; *
      but the LORD delivereth him out of all.
20    He keepeth all his bones, *
      so that not one of them is broken.
21    But misfortune shall slay the ungodly; *
      and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22    The LORD delivereth the souls of his servants; *
      and all they that put their trust in him shall not be destitute.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost: *
     As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne.
Psalm 34 Benedicam Dominum
I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne.
1   I will bless the LORD at all times; *
      his praise shall ever be in my mouth.
2   I will glory in the LORD; *
      let the humble hear and rejoice.
3   Proclaim with me the greatness of the LORD; *
      let us exalt his Name together.
4   I sought the LORD, and he answered me *
      and delivered me out of all my terror.
5   Look upon him and be radiant, *
      and let not your faces be ashamed.
6   I called in my affliction and the LORD heard me *
      and saved me from all my troubles.
7   The angel of the LORD encompasses those who fear him, *
      and he will deliver them.
8   Taste and see that the LORD is good; *
      happy are they who trust in him!
9   Fear the LORD, you that are his saints, *
      for those who fear him lack nothing.
10   The young lions lack and suffer hunger, *
      but those who seek the LORD lack nothing that is good.
11   Come, children, and listen to me; *
      I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12   Who among you loves life *
      and desires long life to enjoy prosperity?
13   Keep your tongue from evil-speaking *
      and your lips from lying words.
14   Turn from evil and do good; *
      seek peace and pursue it.
15   The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, *
      and his ears are open to their cry.
16   The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, *
      to root out the remembrance of them from the earth.
17   The righteous cry, and the LORD hears them *
      and delivers them from all their troubles.
18   The LORD is near to the brokenhearted *
      and will save those whose spirits are crushed.
19   Many are the troubles of the righteous, *
      but the LORD will deliver him out of them all.
20   He will keep safe all his bones; *
      not one of them shall be broken.
21   Evil shall slay the wicked, *
      and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
22   The LORD ransoms the life of his servants, *
      and none will be punished who trust in him.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost: *
     As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:*
     As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne.
A Reading from Wisdom 3:1-9
But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no torment touch them. In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure is taken for misery, And their going from us to be utter destruction: but they are in peace. For though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality. And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for God proved them, and found them worthy for himself. As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering. And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble. They shall judge the nations, and have dominion over the people, and their Lord shall reign for ever. They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with him: for grace and mercy is to his saints, and he hath care for his elect.
But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever touch them. In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be an affliction, and their going from us to be their destruction; but they are at peace. For though in the sight of men they were punished, their hope is full of immortality. Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and found them worthy of himself; like gold in the furnace he tried them, and like a sacrificial burnt offering he accepted them. In the time of their visitation they will shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. They will govern nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them for ever. Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his elect, and he watches over his holy ones.

A Reading from Revelation 19:1-1, 19:4-10
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!" And from the throne came a voice crying, "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great." Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunderpeals, crying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure" -- for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are true words of God." Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

O Lord Jesus Christ, who by thy death didst take away the sting of death: Grant unto us thy servants so to follow in faith where thou hast led the way, that we may at length fall asleep peacefully in thee, and awake up after thy likeness; for thy tender mercies' sake. Amen.
Then, unless the Eucharist or a form of general intercession is to follow, one of these prayers for mission is added.
Prayer for Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore: Let the whole earth also worship thee, all nations obey thee, all tongues confess and bless thee, and men and women everywhere love thee and serve thee in peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hymn: Lux Ecce Surgit Aurea
Meter: LM
Lo! golden light rekindles day:
Let paling darkness steal away,
Which all too long o'erwhelmed our gaze
And led our steps by winding ways.
We pray Thee, rising Light serene,
E'en as Thyself our hearts make clean;
Let no deceit our lips defile,
Nor let our souls be vexed by guile.
O keep us, as the hours proceed,
From lying word and evil deed;
Our roving eyes from sin set free,
Our body from impurity.
For Thou dost from above survey
The converse of each fleeting day;
Thou dost foresee from morning light
Our every deed, until the night.
All laud to God the Father be,
All praise, eternal Son, to Thee;
All glory, as is ever meet,
To God the holy Paraclete.
V. Let the Saints be joyful with glory.
R. Let them rejoice in their beds.

O God, the creator and preserver of all mankind, we humbly
	beseech thee for all sorts and conditions of men; that thou
	wouldest be pleased to make thy ways known unto them, thy
	saving health unto all nations. More especially we pray for

	them according to their several necessities, giving them patience
	under their sufferings, and a happy issue out of all their

The General Thanksgiving [+][-]
	Almighty God, Father of all mercies,

	we thine unworthy servants
	do give thee most humble and hearty thanks

	for all thy goodness and loving kindness
	to us and to all men.
	We bless thee for our creation, preservation,

	and all the blessings of this life;
	but above all for thine inestimable love
	in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ,

	for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.

And, we beseech thee,
	give us that due sense of all thy mercies,
	that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful;
	and that we show forth thy praise,
	not only with our lips, but in our lives,

	by giving up our selves to thy service,
	and by walking before thee
	in holiness and righteousness all our days;

	through Jesus Christ our Lord,
	to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost,

	be all honor and glory, world without end. Amen.
Almighty God, Father of all mercies,
	we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks

	for all your goodness and loving-kindness
	to us and to all whom you have made.
	We bless you for our creation, preservation,

	and all the blessings of this life;
	but above all for your immeasurable love
	in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ;

	for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.
	And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies,

	that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise,
	not only with our lips, but in our lives,
	by giving up our selves to your service,
	and by walking before you
	in holiness and righteousness all our days;

	through Jesus Christ our Lord,
	to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit,

	be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen.
A Prayer of St. Chrysostom [+][-]
	Almighty God, who hast given us grace at this time with one
	accord to make our common supplication unto thee, and
	hast promised through thy well beloved Son that when two
	or three are gathered together in his Name thou wilt be in the
	midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, the desires and petitions
	of thy servants as may be best for us; granting us in this
	world knowledge of thy truth, and in the world to come life
	everlasting.  Amen.
Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen.
Let us bless the Lord.
		Thanks be to God.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Salve Regina
Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness,
and our hope.To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this
valley of tears.Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of
mercy toward us. And after this our exile show unto us
the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement
O loving
O sweet Virgin Mary
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R.That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
Almighty, everlasting God, who by the cooperation of the Holy Spirit, didst prepare the body and soul of the glorious Virgin-Mother Mary to become a worthy dwelling for Thy Son; grant that we who rejoice in her commemoration may, by her loving intercession, be delivered from present evils and from the everlasting death. Amen.
V. May the divine help remain with us always.
R. And with our absent brothers and sisters. Amen.
Salve Regina
Mary, we hail you, Mother and Queen compassionate;
Mary, most humble, great and pure, we hail you.
To you we exiles, children of Eve lift our voices.
To you we sing praises, because by the Spirit, you brought
forth to us the Savior.
Turn now, therefore, O our intercessor, your eyes of pity and lovingkindness upon us sinners.
Then at the last, when our earthly journey has been ended, show us Jesus, the blessed fruit of your womb.
O gentle
O tender
